Be Safe around the Tramway

We want you to stay safe around trams, so here are our top tips for staying safe around and on trams:

If you need to cross the tram track, keep to the designated crossings! 

Look both ways, don't be distracted be using your mobile phone! 

Remove headphones so that you can listen for trams approaching! 

Please keep back from the platform edge!

Apply brakes to pushchairs and wheelchairs while you're waiting!

Please don't try to get on the tram while the doors are closing!

Once you're on the tram tram a seat or hold on to a handrail!

Park wheelchairs and pushchairs safely in the designated areas!

Keep your group together, hold onto small children and look after vulnerable people at all times!
